Places worth the trip, already chosen

The places in the guide were picked and written up by hand rather than scraped off a map. Lists somebody sat down and made sit beside every country, region and category.

Know what you missed

Every collection carries its own total, so the places you have not reached sit on the same screen as the ones you have. That total is what makes a collection something you can finish.

Something to show for where you have been

Explorer through Legend, in every collection you touch, struck as badges you can hold up and share. Your first visit into a collection earns the first rank, so the case starts filling straight away.

See where other travellers went

Every place carries how many people have collected it, so the crowd’s own record sits on the page beside the guide’s. It is where travellers go, not a list of what is famous.

Always have a next place to go

Weighted against what you have already collected: how near a place is, which collections you are closest to closing, and the countries you have never set foot in. Nothing here is guessed by a model.

Find out how you travel

Read off your own record, with the number that earned it beside every claim: the category you collect far more often than the guide offers it, or whether you go for the landmarks or the corners.
